District administration in Peshawar refuses to allow PDM meeting
PESHAWAR: The district administration has refused to allow the PDM to hold a meeting in view of the spread of Corona epidemic.
According to Express News, the district administration in Peshawar refused to allow the PDM to hold a meeting in view of the threat of the spread of the corona epidemic, saying that the government had directed it to refrain from holding public gatherings.
According to the deputy commissioner, the corona rate in Peshawar district has risen to more than 13 per cent at present. Large public gatherings are feared to spread corona on a large scale. In this situation, meetings cannot be allowed to save lives from the corona virus.
It should be noted that the application for permission for the meeting was sent to DC Peshawar by Faisal Karim Kundi, Sardar Hussain Babak, Maulana Ata-ul-Haq Darwish, Murtaza Javed Abbasi and Hashim Babar through focal person Abdul Jalil Jan.
