Saudi Arabia has allowed Israel to use its airspace

Saudi Arabia has allowed Israeli flights to use its airspace to travel to the United Arab Emirates.

According to foreign news agency (Reuters), Donald Trump's son-in-law and senior White House adviser Gerard Kishner and Saudi officials had an important meeting in which they agreed to use Saudi airspace for Israeli flights to the United Arab Emirates.

It is believed that after the establishment of diplomatic relations with Israel and the United Arab Emirates this year, it was agreed to start direct flights between the two countries, but this required an agreement on the use of Saudi airspace.

According to US officials, Evie Berkowitz and Brian Hook, senior White House advisers and US ambassadors to the Middle East, first raised the issue during a meeting with Saudi officials and resolved it amicably. However, Saudi officials have not yet confirmed the news.

On the other hand, the first commercial flight of Israeli Airlines is ready to depart for the United Arab Emirates after the agreement on the airspace of Saudi Arabia.

Earlier, it was reported that Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu had a secret meeting with Saudi Crown Prince Salman, but this was denied by Riyadh.

It is clear that Saudi Arabia has not yet agreed to establish diplomatic relations with Israel, but Riyadh has not opposed the UAE, Sudan and Bahrain's relations with Israel.
