Corona's second wave intensifies 36 people killed in one day

ISLAMABAD: The number of active cases of corona virus has crossed 33,000 across the country while 36 more people have lost their lives due to corona in the last 24 hours.

According to the latest figures from the National Command and Operations Center, 2,738 new cases of corona were reported in the last 24 hours. After which the total number of cases across the country became 368,665.

According to the NCOC, the number of active cases has increased to 33,562 while 327,542 patients with corona virus have recovered so far. Another 36 deaths were reported in the last 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 7,561.

The number of patients in Sindh was 159,752, in Punjab 112,893, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa 43,359, Islamabad 25,719, Balochistan 16,642, Azad Kashmir 5,806 and Gilgit-Baltistan 4,494.
