In his message, the Chinese president said that we hope that mutual respect and cooperation will be promoted while avoiding conflicts and confrontations. We look forward to working together to strengthen Sino-US relations.

It should be noted that the results of the US election held on November 3 had made it clear that Biden's superiority over his rival candidate had become clear on November 7, after which he started receiving congratulatory messages from all over the world.

No reason has been given by China for the delay, but some experts believe that President Trump did not recognize his opponent's success and was not ready to step down. Therefore, Beijing refrained from congratulating his rival to avoid further bitterness in relations with Trump.

That's why, according to observers, China has formally congratulated President-elect Biden after receiving signals of readiness from President Donald Trump to step down.

It should be noted that after the outbreak of Corona virus by President Trump, the relations between the two countries have come down to the lowest level due to blaming China for it. President Trump has taken a hard line on China in his last term, but his winning Democrat opponent, Joe Biden, has also been seen sharply critical of his campaign on China.
