
Gold price rises in Pakistan despite being cheaper in the global market

Karachi: Despite the fact that gold is cheaper in the global market, the price of gold in Pakistan has increased by Rs 450.
In the international bullion market, the price of 24-carat gold per ounce fell by ڈالر 13 to 18 1,875, but in the local barter markets, gold prices rose by Rs 450 and Rs 376 per tola and per 10 grams, respectively, on Wednesday.
As a result, Karachi, Hyderabad, Sukkur, Multan, Lahore, Faisalabad, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Peshawar and Quetta barter markets, the price of gold per tola increased to Rs 112,800 and the price of gold per ten grams increased to Rs 96,708.
Representatives of the bullion market said that the price of gold per tola in the Pakistani barter markets on Wednesday was Rs 2,000 less than the Dubai gold market. On the other hand, the price of silver per tola remained unchanged at Rs 1,200 and the price of silver per ten grams remained stable at Rs 1,028.80.
Representatives of Lane Market said that the price of gold per tola was Rs 2,000 less on Wednesday in Pakistani barter markets as compared to Dubai Gold Market. On the other hand, the price of silver per tola remained unchanged at Rs 1,200 and the price of silver per ten grams remained stable at Rs 1,028.80.
