French president prepares to impose tougher sanctions on Muslims

 PARIS: The French president has been pushing for tougher laws to impose more restrictions on Muslims.

According to foreign news agencies, Emmanuel McKeown says that the "Charter of Republican Values" is aimed at preventing Muslims from extremism.

According to details, Emmanuel McKeown has given the French Council of Muslim Faith 15 days to work out a plan of action with the Interior Ministry.

Following this legislation, the CFCM will form the National Council of Imams. Imams in mosques can be installed and removed at the will of the government. The purpose of the charter is to make it clear that Islam is a religion and not a political movement.

Under the charter, foreign interference in the affairs of Muslims in the country will be prevented. Under the new rules, teaching Muslim children at home will be banned.

Muslim children will be issued an ID number which will keep a record of their attendance at school. Muslim parents who do not send their children to school will face up to six months in prison and heavy fines. The charter also proposes harsher punishments for confusing government officials on religious grounds.

It should be noted that Muslims in France have been facing hateful treatment for the past two months, while many mosques have been closed. Anti-Islamic measures have been on the rise in France since the publication of the blasphemous sketches. Even before this, other religious symbols, including the wearing of the hijab by Muslim women, were banned in France.
