Prime Minister chaired a meeting on Karachi Transformation Plan, attended by Army Chief


 ISLAMABAD: A high level meeting on Karachi Transformation Plan was held under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Imran Khan in which Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa, Federal Ministers Sheikh Rashid Ahmed, Asad Umar, Faisal Wawda and Finance Advisor Dr Abdul Hafeez Sheikh were present. Attended.

The meeting was informed that more than 100 projects have been planned under the Karachi Transformation Plan which will be completed at a cost of Rs. 1.117 trillion and these projects have been divided into 3 parts in terms of completion stages. The meeting was also briefed on the progress made so far on these projects.

Emphasizing on the timely completion of projects, the Prime Minister said that it was imperative to solve the problems of Karachi on a permanent basis.

The Prime Minister also directed to form a technical committee under the Ministry of Planning to formulate recommendations for enhancing the capacity and utility of the K4 project to supply water to Karachi.
