 PESHAWAR: PDM chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman has said that he has declared war against the rulers and returning from the battlefield is a grave sin.

Addressing a meeting of the opposition Ittehad-e-Pakistan Democratic Movement in Peshawar, PDM chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman said that the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa had held a referendum against the government in today's meeting.

He said that rigging has taken place and the perpetrators are also known. Let the army work with the defense. If you cheat, it is not a crime. Let's talk. Are you upset? We give you time to withdraw support from this government.

The PDM chief said the government had destroyed the economy in two years. When the country's economy is not stable, the existence of the state is in danger. A few days ago, the SBP issued a statement saying that for the first time since 1951, Pakistan's growth rate has come down to 0.4 percent. It is said that there are signs of improvement in the economy. I ask, where are these signs coming from?

He said that the rulers and their supporters were bewildered by the PDM meetings. They have to be removed from here with humiliation and disgrace. We have declared war and now retreating from the battlefield is a grave sin.

He said that Pakistan was isolated due to failed foreign policy of the government. Today no country in the world is ready to belong to us. There was a time when Indian Prime Minister Vajpayee came to Lahore and recognized Pakistan as a reality. Just because Pakistan's economy was strong and they wanted trade from us. Afghanistan is not ready to trust you today and Iran has gone to India's lobby instead of Pakistan's.

Maulana Fazlur Rehman said that we have 70 years of friendship with China but today we wasted its 70 70 billion investment in Pakistan. Addressing the gathering, PDM chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman expressed condolences over the deaths of Nawaz Sharif's mother, Allama Khadim Hussain Rizvi and Chief Justice Peshawar High Court Justice Waqar Seth.
