Saudi Arabia announces free corona vaccine for 70% of its citizens

Saudi Arabia has announced the free supply of corona vaccine to 70% of its citizens and migrants.

According to the World News Agency, Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Health has decided to provide free corona vaccine across the country by the end of next year. The campaign, which begins early next year, will vaccinate 70 per cent of people over the age of 16 who have not contracted CoV-19.

In this regard, Saudi Arabia has approached the pharmaceutical trading company Kovex Organization, which works to distribute the corona vaccine from the manufacturer to the rest of the world, and the G-20 has a major role in its financing.

In this regard, Dr. Abdullah Asiri, Secretary of the Saudi Ministry of Health for Preventive Health, has indicated that a large number of vaccines will be available through this facility by the beginning of next year.

It should be noted that companies from China, USA, UK and Germany have claimed to be developing the vaccine while Pfizer has also approached the Food and Drug Administration for approval but the real test is the fair distribution of the vaccine.
