Alarm bell, second wave declared more dangerous

 It was informed at the NCOC meeting that the rate of positive corona cases in the country has reached the highest level.

According to details, a meeting of the NCOC was held under the chairmanship of Federal Minister Asad Umar, in which the provincial chief secretaries participated through video link.

Federal Minister Asad Omar said that individual and collective roles would have to be played to control Corona.

Briefing the COC on the global epidemic corona situation in the country, the officials said that the overall rate of positive corona cases in the country is 7.20%, which has led to the highest rate of positive corona cases in the country.

The briefing said that the number of critically ill patients of Corona is increasing rapidly and the number of critically ill patients of Corona in the country is 2,112.

According to sources, Corona Task Force Chairman Dr Ata-ur-Rehman has also termed the second wave of Corona across the country as more dangerous than the first.

Federal Minister Asad Omar said that protection of public health is the top priority of the government, which is taking all possible steps to control Corona while orders are being issued by the Ministry of Health for the protection of health.

According to the latest figures from the National Command and Operations Center 3113 new cases were reported in the last 24 hours, 117,160 in Punjab, 168,783 in Sindh, 46,281 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and 17 in Balochistan. 8,088 cases were reported in Gilgit-Baltistan, 4,598 in Islamabad, 28,980 in Islamabad and 6,501 in Azad Kashmir.
