Havelian PK661 Plane Crash: Can a Human Fault in a Technical Fault Be Excluded?

The crash investigation report cited three technical reasons as the cause of the crash. Can't be declared

The Civil Aviation Authority, the regulatory body for Pakistan's aviation department, says the crash of Pakistan International Airlines flight PK661 in December 2016 was the first of its kind and has no precedent. That's why it took about four years to investigate the accident.

Asked about the four-year investigation into the crash, Civil Aviation spokesman Abdul Sattar Khokhar said the president of the Accident Investigation Board thought it was an "unprecedented accident" because This type of accident has never happened before, which is why this accident had to be investigated in great detail because these were reasons that were not known before.

Although civil aviation authorities have cited three technical reasons as the cause of the crash in a crash investigation report submitted to the Sindh High Court, an air accident investigator told the BBC: Whenever there is a technical problem or a malfunction in the aircraft, there may be a human error behind it and it cannot be ruled out.

It may be recalled that in December 2016, a Pakistan International Airlines passenger plane 'PK661' crashed near Havelian in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.
